Childish Behavior

Where to start? Browsing? Browsing.
As I was browsing a deviant gallery I found a humorous post and commented a jest to confirm my like mindedness. No issue.
Next thing I know the deviant explodes into a rant in a comment on my comment, then continues the rant on my home page and finally bans me from their page...before I could even explain the misunderstanding.
Yet I was the one called childish? Just had to get that off my mind. ty guys and have a great night.

Is it just me or does STP seem to 'borrow' from Dark Matter a bit? I also couldn't help but notice some of the tech like the plot devices (bad pun for bad tech).

No Political Preference Here, Just Art

The title says it all I suppose. At least people will stop asking if I voted...I think.
The answer to the question is always the same for me.
"I refuse to be forced to choose the lesser of two evils. Evil is evil. I vote for God, Love and Compassion for fellow man."
That is as political as I get, pretty much.
I prefer art to be sans political, as well, but one of our many rights (that we still have) is freedom of speech.
All I ask is you say it over there.

Looking for a Publisher or an Agent

How does one really do this without getting burned one way or the other? Friend of a friend? Word of mouth?
I have seen some expensive books on the matter, but for a struggling artist such as myself (and others I am sure) buying a book where the information may be out of date by the time you can afford it is out of the question.
The internet? Come on ... really? It's like a parade of snake oil salesmen there, but they have the ability to take everything from you with computers. Nooooo, I'm not pessimistic...much.
I have found one site where I recognized some people's names like Larry Niven! The site was willing to help anyone in need...as long as you have been published two times...
I keep getting hit with ads from Amazon for Kindle writing, too. I still haven't figured that one out. I'm not unfamiliar with computers, but I was never formally taught either. I use Microsoft Word 2007, but I am sure I would have to write it in PDF format...another program to buy...
